02 — Field reports

Three projects, three different problems solved.

Case study 01 — Texas, 2024

12,000 m² modular housing community, completed in 7 months

A Texas modular builder was scaling from 200 to 1,200 homes per year. Their existing OSB supplier couldn't keep up with the dimensional consistency requirement for factory-controlled assembly. BAMOSB-S18 delivered sub-1mm tolerance, 28-day lead time, and the EPD they needed for state low-income housing tax credits. The community broke ground in Q1 2024 and was fully occupied by September.

Case study 02 — Berlin, 2025

Five-story timber-frame university building, 6,400 m² of wall sheathing

A Berlin architectural practice needed a wall sheathing product that met EN 300 OSB4 and contributed positively to the building's EU taxonomy disclosure. Conventional wood OSB showed +0.42 tCO₂e/m³; BAMOSB showed -1.41. That delta of 1.83 tonnes per cubic meter, multiplied by 3,500 m³ of panel, was the difference between meeting and missing the project's embodied carbon target.

Case study 03 — Osaka, 2025

Seismic wall sheathing for 14 prefab schools across the Kansai region

After the 2024 Noto earthquake, Japan's Ministry of Education commissioned a national review of school building seismic performance. The winning design used BAMOSB-S18 as the wall sheathing in a 2x4-style timber frame, with JIS A5908 certification. The 14 schools completed in 2025 are the first cohort of a planned 200-school rollout through 2027.

"We are not selling a panel. We are selling a specifier's shortcut to a structural building material that meets every certification, every code, and every procurement story their project will be asked about."
