Most wood OSB hits 50 MPa MOR at 30mm thickness. BAMOSB-S18 reaches it at 18mm — that's a 40% reduction in material for the same structural performance. The reason is bamboo's natural fiber density and our three-layer cross-orientation, which exploits that fiber alignment in both directions.
The practical result: lighter walls, longer spans, fewer studs. For modular builders, that means 8-12% more interior floor area in the same external envelope.

BAMOSB-S18 is the only bamboo panel I have specified that passes EN 300 OSB4 at 18mm. Our modular line is now 8% lighter per square meter, and the EPD sealed a public-procurement contract we would have lost on carbon.
For most structural applications — yes. Where you currently use EN 300 OSB3 or OSB4 wood panels in roof, wall, or floor assemblies, BAMOSB-S18 drops in at the same thickness with the same fastener schedule. The two differences that matter: BAMOSB-S18 has higher MOR at lower density, and it is dimensionally more stable (lower thickness swell).
Unit price per m² is comparable to premium imported wood OSB. The cost saving comes from weight (lower transport cost per panel) and from carbon-driven procurement preference in EU institutional projects, which often translates to 3-7% effective price advantage for the contractor.

Yes. BAMOSB-S18 FR is treated to EN 13501-1 B-s1, d0 (the highest panel-class rating). Available on 21-day lead time. Add 8-12% to the unit price.
One 40HC container (approximately 850 panels for 18mm thickness). Mixed-thickness orders accepted. Sample kit of three panels (300×300mm) is available for testing.
Measured values are third-party laboratory tests on standard 18 mm samples (EN 310 / EN 317 / EN 300 OSB4 protocol, 10% equilibrium moisture). The “target” column tracks the development roadmap being independently re-tested Q4 2026; current lot data ships on every spec sheet.
