Fifty percent Moso bamboo, fifty percent plantation poplar. The hybrid that brings BAMOSB-class performance to the wood-OSB price point. Engineered for the projects where cost matters as much as sustainability.
Composite OSB is what happens when you blend BAMOSB's bamboo-strand top and bottom face layers with a poplar strand core. You keep the bamboo's high tensile strength on the surfaces — where the panel needs to resist bending — and use the lower-cost poplar in the middle, where it handles shear.
The result: 90% of the structural performance of our flagship BOSB-S18, at 70% of the cost. EN 300 OSB3 certified. 100% zero-formaldehyde adhesive. Net negative carbon footprint.
Measured values are third-party laboratory tests on standard 18 mm samples (EN 310 / EN 317 / EN 300 OSB4 protocol, 10% equilibrium moisture). The “target” column tracks the development roadmap being independently re-tested Q4 2026; current lot data ships on every spec sheet.
